SCREAM QUEEN OF THE MONTH-MARCH, 2013-NICKI AYCOX

I have a bit of a dilemma. Other than seeing our March Scream Queen in Jeepers Creepers 2 as Minxie the psychic cheerleader and as the demon Meg Masters on TV’s Supernatural (of which I am a big fan), I really don’t know all that much about Nicki Aycox. So, I did a little research and I made a list. Allow me to show you.

1. She’s very pretty. That’s an easy one.

2. She has a thing for sequels; having appeared in Jeepers Creepers 2 (2003), The X-Files: I Want to Believe (2008), and Joy Ride 2: Dead Ahead (2008).

3. She has some extensive TV experience having appeared on 3rd Rock From the Sun, Ally McBeal, Providence, The X-Files, Criminal Minds and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation to name but a few.

4. Her non-sequel genre films include Dead Birds (2004) and Animals (2008)

5. She speaks fluent German

6. She has a thing for British men.

7. She has Native American heritage

And last but not least,

8. She does charity work

So, now I know a little bit more about Nicki Aycox. More importantly you know a little bit more about Nicki Aycox. So, as it is a tradition that I just made up, let us give a laurel and hearty welcome to our March, 2013 Scream Queen of the Month, the woman who makes me stand at Achtung and say ‘lift’ instead of ‘elevator’, the lovely Miss Nicki Aycox!!

About jmount43

I was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on March 4, 1962. I guess that makes me old, but I certainly don't feel that way. I still play video games and listen to rock and roll music. I love movies, especially horror films. I have a beautiful wife who is my all time best friend. She supports me in everything I do. More importantly, she calls me out on my bullshit. This blog is dedicated to her for everything she's done for me.

I also liked her the most to play Meg. I don’t know, it is sort of how Ruby for me will always be Katie Cassidy, not Genevieve Padalecki, nee Cortese. I don’t know, tall bombshell, bitchy blonde to a slightly shorter and far darker woman? Big changes that never really gelled for me.

Again, I liked both Katie and Genevieve’s performances the same as I liked both Nicki and Rachel’s. I love the show in the first place. My wife is a big fan of Misha Collins after seeing him as Castiel.

They were all great for their respective roles, but again it comes down to the slightly more natural, as you said, as well as personal preference :) Your wife is spot on, Misha Collins was great for Castiel, no denying that!

  2. Derek says:

Ms Aycox will always be my favorite Meg on Supernatural. Noting against Rachel Miner but her Meg never clicked for me.

  3. Silverhawk says:

She’s my favorite Meg on Supernatural. Gorgeous woman :)
