I swear to you all that I am not turning this into the Written in Blood presents the Supernatural Scream of the Month; although it would appear that way after my last four Scream Queens were alumnae of the popular series. Well, now we have one more in the form of the stunning Lauren Cohan. Lauren played the devilish (and devilishly doomed) Bela Talbot in the third season of the show. However, you may be more familiar with her as another character from another wildly popular TV series: she’s Maggie Greene from AMC’s The Walking Dead. Lauren was born on January 7, 1982 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She lived in Cherry Hill Township, New Jersey before moving to the United Kingdom. She is a graduate of the University of Winchester/ King Alfred’s College in the United Kingdom. In addition to playing Bela and Maggie, Lauren has also appeared in the films Casanova (2005), Van Wilder 2: The Rise of Taj (2006), Float (2008) and Young Alexander the Great (2010); she has guest starred on television’s CSI:NYCold CaseChuckThe Vampire Diaries and Children’s Hospital, to name a few.

Let’s all give a warm welcome to the lovely Lauren Cohan; Written in Blood’s Scream Queen of the Month for July, 2013!

About Written in Blood

I was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on March 4, 1962. I guess that makes me old, but I certainly don't feel that way. I still play video games and listen to rock and roll music. I love movies, especially horror films. I have a beautiful wife who is my all time best friend. She supports me in everything I do. More importantly, she calls me out on my bullshit. This blog is dedicated to her for everything she's done for me.
