BIOGRAPHY
I was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina in 1962, the youngest of three children. I have a brother and a sister, Rusty and Mary Ellen. My parents, Jack and Lillian, are deceased.
Nowadays, I live in Bakersfield, California. I am married to Phyllis. She has 3 daughters, all of whom are grown and living on their own. We have a German Shepherd named Bella, a terrier named Clarice, and two guinea pigs named Alice and Annabel.
I have watched horror films for as long as I can remember. Shock Theatre on Saturday Afternoons. Nowadays I have a large collection of horror DVD’s and I am constantly adding to it.
So, that’s my life in a nutshell. Stay scared, everybody!!

Just out of curiosity, is the cat named after your brother?
I too love horror films, and sadly had to part with most of my DVD’s a while ago. I have a big shopping list though, and cannot wait to add to it.
No, the cat was named when we got him and has since passed away. I guess I need to update my bio a little bit.

Sooo much!
Always nice to see someone else who appreciates the more horror-orientated side of cinema! Love the site, can’t wait to read more.

Dear John Mountain ,
Hope you are enjoying a prosperous and happy 2012. Since 2011 was the 150-th anneversary of the civil war , so could you please give me any horror or ghost film which has got connections to the civil war ???
Any ghost story or horror story with connection to the civil war will also do.
I am saying this since I am interested in researching American history.
Take care
Debanjan
For the American Civil War there’s 2001 Maniacs with Robert Englund. There was also a film entitled Grey Knight. If you want a film about the Spanish Civil War you can’t go wrong with The Devil’s Backbone directed by Guillermo del Toro.
Hi, you started following my blog about two weeks ago. I wanted to let you know I have now moved it to blogger.com. My new blog site is http://www.awylderview.blogspot.com. I hope you follow me there:-) I am going to see if I can follow you through that host instead of my wordpress. I see you like Edgar Allen Poe. Have you seen the ad for the movie based on his books coming out next year? It looks like it will be a good one!
I have seen the trailer for The Raven and indeed it does look like a good one. Thank you for letting me know about the move. I will check out the new site and hopefully will have no trouble following you there.
Cool site, thanks for checking out my blog.
You’re welcome!
