WRITTEN IN BLOOD SCREAM QUEEN OF THE MONTH-JUNE, 2015-KACEY ROHL

To those of you who know me well enough my choice of June Scream Queen should come as no surprise. On June 4, 2015 the third season of Hannibal will begin and on that day a strange osmosis will occur of which the prognosis will be one in which that night my TV and I will become one as I immerse myself in the world of Will Graham and Hannibal Lecter. Perhaps Kacey Rohl will once again reprise her role as Abigail Hobbs. Who knows; although things didn’t look that great for her in the Season Two finale (or for anyone else for that matter), I have learned to expect the unexpected when it comes to Hannibal.

Born August 6, 1991 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, Kacey is the daughter of television director Michael Rohl and her mother is playwright and comedian Jan Derbyshire. Kacey began studying acting at the age of 14 and her first role was in the revived television sci-fi drama V. In fact most of her work has been in television, with roles in Red Riding Hood, Sunflower Hour, Sisters & Brothers (all 2011) and Flicka: Country Pride (2012) being thus far her only forays onto the silver screen.

Kacey’s TV work includes the series Caprica (2010), R.L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour: The Series and The Killing (2011), Supernatural (2o12) and Working the Engels (2014). TV Movies include The Client List (2010), Geek Charming (2011), Taken Back: Finding Haley (2012) and Doubt (2013).

There you have it; it is here that we give a warm welcome to the Written in Blood Scream Queen of the Month for June, 2015, Kacey Rohl.
