Synopsis: Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension follows the Fleeges clan – including, dad Ryan (Chris J. Murray), mom Emily (Brit Shaw), and their daughter Leila (Ivy George) – as they move into a new house, only to find themselves seemingly being haunted by supernatural forces. However, upon discovering a box of old video tapes in the garage (along with a camera that can capture paranormal beings on film), the family starts to realize that it was no accident that they ended up in their new home. But can they prevent the terrible fate that’s been laid out for them?
This sixth* installment in the Paranormal Activity franchise has been pushed back and postponed so many times that I honestly forgot that there was even going to be a new movie. Also starring Nathan Brewer, Jay Hieron and a returning Katie Featherston and directed by Gregory Plotkin, Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension will supposedly be the final film in the series and will allegedly answer a lot of the questions put forth by the previous films. I know a lot of people have grown tired of the Paranormal Activity movies but I for one cannot wait for October 23, 2015 to get here. I’m just a goofy son-of-a-gun like that.
*This includes Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones. You didn’t think I knew how to count, did you?
