FRIDAY NIGHT AT THE TRAILER PARK: THE BOY

SynopsisGreta (Cohan) is a young American woman who takes a job as a nanny in a remote English village, only to discover that the family’s 8-year-old is a life-sized doll that the parents care for just like a real boy, as a way to cope with the death of their actual son 20 years prior. After violating a list of strict rules, a series of disturbing and inexplicable events bring Greta’s worst nightmare to life, leading her to believe that the doll is actually alive.

Yes, I am quite aware that Rhino’s Horror has already posted an article featuring the trailer for this new film starring  The Walking Dead‘s Lauren Cohan and usually I try not to repeat what someone else has already said but dammit I’m feeling lazy on this rainy day and more importantly this movie looks so friggin’ creepy.

Directed by William Brent Bell (The Devil Inside, Wer) and with a screenplay by Stacey Menear, The Boy also stars Rupert Evans, Ben Robson, Diana Hardcastle and Jim Norton. Formerly titled “The Inhabitant” it is set for U.S. release on January 22, 2016. As always I invite you to enjoy the trailer below.
