Jimbo is 13 and can think of only one girl — Sarah Jane. And no matter what stands in his way-bullies, violence, chaos, or zombies-nothing will stop him from finding a way into her world.

Directed by Spencer Susser.

Written by David Michôd and Spencer Susser.

Starring Mia Wasikowska, Brad Ashby and Vladimir Matovic.

Filmed in Australia.

14 minutes, 30 seconds.

I watched two short horror films this week that dealt with the strange mixture of love between zombies and humans; I Love Sarah Jane and Alice Jacobs is Dead, starring Adrienne Barbeau. I give the nod to ‘Sarah Jane’ over ‘Alice’ for this weeks Short Film Saturday. That doesn’t mean Alice Jacobs is Dead is a bad movie; I’ll be showing it in the near future. The fact is that I Love Sarah Jane fires on all cylinders. Is there love among the living and the dead? It’s not at all what you might be thinking. Check it out.
