Synopsis: Popular prank TV show, Scare Campaign, has been entertaining audiences for the last five years with its mix of old school scares and hidden camera fun. But as we enter a new age of online TV the producers find themselves up against a new hard edged web series which makes their show look decidedly quaint. It’s time to up the ante, but will the team go too far this time, and are they about to prank the wrong guy?
This one comes to us from the Cairnes brothers, Cameron and Colin, the same two guys who gave us 100 Bloody Acres in 2012. That one was a nifty and fun little Aussie horror flick and Scare Campaign looks like it might just follow it up quite well.
The Cairnes brothes share a writing and directing credit and Scare Campaign stars Meegan Warner, Ian Meadows, Olivia DeJonge, Josh Quong Tart, Patrick Harvey, Cassandra Magrath, Steve Mouzakis, John Brumpton, Jason Geary, Sigrid Thornton, and Kaiting Yap. I don’t have much on a United States release date but I do know that it’s set for Monster Fest on November 26 in the Land Down Under aka Australia. Check them out at their official Facebook page for more details.
Here’s the trailer and a poster. Enjoy.
