  2. Alien made me pause for a minute or two. I finally saw the creature in the cat’s eye. Awesome. Superman was also great and The Thing – great poster to a great movie. Nice work this week.

  3. Great on Amelie, smooth artwork and that garden gnome. Always fun. I’ve oftened likened Amelie to a favourite film of mine “Kamikaze Girls” because it seemed to be formatted and brightly colourful in the same way.

Which era of “The Wolfman” is this? I’m behind on my lycanthropy knowledge. The dead button eye of Jaws always gets ya, plus it looks like his teeth are beach tents. Very well done. I don’t know “Sucker Punch” but I dig the skulls. And Superman… I so remember that scene when he alters into his Superman costume and the first guy who sees him shouts, “Man, that’s a b-a-d outfit! Woo!” (bad meaning good, ha ha)

The Conjuring I’m not familiar with but the sheeted man is spooky! As for “The Ring” I don’t know that either but I sure know the horror of a VHS cassette spilling it’s ribbon and thinking “What am I gonna do?!”

(Now I shall pour my coffee.) 🙂

    • The Wolfman is for the Benicio del Toro film. Those are beach tents. By all means see The Conjuring and The Ring. Pour your coffee. Drink it. Drink. There ya go. 😀

  4. Okay, I saw the notification and I thought, “Oh s**t, posters, posters, gotta do the posters…” and then I thought, “Oh, it’s Monday, let’s get the day started with *this* and my new French press coffee maker I got while my buddy was here helping me out. Make it an event!

AH YES! [happy fist-slam to the desk] JONESY! I love Jonesy! Now I’m trying to figure out what his pupil is showing. I’m thinking it’s one of the alien eggs, oui? Plus it’s fairly well known on privateer and pirate ships that cats were kept to get rid of vermin. Better to have a cat on all ships to sniff out xenomorphs. On the ships of old the cats didn’t always survive, but Jonesy did for the Alien saga.

Aw, darn it… some of the posters didn’t show up. I have to reload the page. I’ll write more.

  5. Alien and The Thing are quite good. The Alien one reminds me of that kind of abstract poster style popular with Polish one sheets. This one for Rosemary’s Baby is sweet-

    and this one for Godzilla-
