ALT-POSTR-MONDAY: HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Happy Halloween! Since Alt-Postr day falls on the same day as when ghosts, ghouls, vampires. werewolves and the like are roaming the streets, I figured I would try to make each poster this week one from the horror genre. I hope I did okay. Enjoy!

  1. The Bride, Evil Dead 2, Psycho, but my fav has to be Halloween 3. A great poster to a movie that should be more popular. This might just be your best Monday so far. I could list everyone of them this week. Nice work.

  2. Super intricate with “The Bride of Frankenstein”, even to the effect she might have a mummy hand. “Evil Dead”: Oh, gross! That eyeball! Okay, I need to look away. Then the soft torment of “Frankenstein” with the burning windmill and special tools in the creation chamber. The overlapping TV screen effect is really daring for “Halloween: Season of The Witch”. Glad to see the test-pattern floating around in there, and the jack o lantern of course. Love the set up for “Nosferatu” with the rats and wolf and the long hands. Uh oh, here comes Norman. Wow, his likeness was shown really good in the reflection on the knife! “It” is super creepy with the arm coming out of the sewer and his treat of a balloon. Aw, “The Fly”: that’s a bummer to get all yucky like that but it’s evident in messing with science. There shall be errors.

Good stuff. (I was wiped out from Halloween so it took me a while.)

  3. Beautiful set today. Both the Frankensteins are gorgeous, but all are great picks. Franklin Booth’s intricate pen and ink work re-channeled by DeLort made me smile quite a lot today. Happy Halloween!
