  1. Ah, Bela and the lady. That brings in a soft sense of home even with the bright shock of red coming from the windows. Whoah, King Kong is even looking a little Goth here, but I gotta love that camera in the forefront facing the title like it’s the Hollywood sign. Neon dazzle with Re-Animator. Gosh why am I not surprised H.P. Lovecraft had something to do with that one? Island of Doctor Moreau is a total trip showing all the beasties secluded within the forest of his soul.

Sorry this wasn’t much (and late again). I was finding lesser highlights for myself, but they were so lovely. And I’ve been hitting the books lately. (Ep. 17 is going slow, but it’s going.) I still like this arrangement. I feel like with this I can keep in touch on a weekly basis. Well done, John.

(And concert posters would be fine by me, too. Concerts are stage productions, after all. I’m going to suggest “Monterey Pop”, but then again I would.)
