It was inevitable that since I feature all of these fantastic posters that I would get around to actually purchasing one of them. That day has come and it is none other than one for It Follows complete with a glow in the dark layer by the artist Chris Garofalo. You can see both the regular and GID layers below. On the mention of purchasing posters may I say that my second purchase will be for The Witch by Vance Kelly; a poster that I’ve featured in a past post.

      • 🙂 Don’t I know it! Disappeared and went underground for a while. Holiday. Break. I am back now though, and this was a great collection. Hope you enjoy your It Follows poster, really cool!

        • It will be shipped after January 31; until then I have an awesome poster for an awesome movie: “Black Phillip” by Vance Kelly inspired by The Witch. I’ll try to post a pic of in the frame in one of my APM posts in the near feature.

  1. The first poster definitely has that story of New York feeling and sure enough I look down and there’s Woody Allen somewhere in the make. Always dazzled by a chik. The image has a book cover feeling as well. Oh dear Heavens! DUEL! I could tell you some stories. The horror of the image is rather extreme in tandem with our viewing it that held for us a feeling of hilarity. (Never forget Dennis Weaver keeps his peanut-butter in the fridge to keep it from going rancid!) Gross effect in Hobo with a Shotgun! Ewll!

Fascinating to read you made a purchase of It Follows. It definitely appeals. What We Do In The Shadows, and all the faces, makes me think this is one guy putting on a zillion horrific roles. Love the flowery impressions on “Vertigo”. Rowdy Roddy Piper for They Live! Gosh… almost glad to see all those subliminal messages made visible for the sake I feel the same thing happening in the online world. And our hero is in colour. “The Witch” has that touch of Brian Froud, just a touch.

  2. It Follows is a sound purchase. It would be my pick too or Annie Hall for this week. Although Krampus has something. Hobo with a Shotgun looks like it has Sly Stallone in it.
