ALT-POSTR-MONDAY FOR FEBRUARY 13, 2017

In three days I’ll be celebrating nine years of marital bliss with the sweetest woman I’ve ever known. That has nothing to do with this weeks batch of posters; I’m just happy to have such a wonderful wife. Enjoy.

  1. I’m going to go outside the topic and touch on the marvel I find in your marital bliss! I saw that in your work from the beginning and it was one of the many things that made me think, “This guy is way awesome!” I’ve got my own marital bliss which makes our friendship lost for tension. So that celebration is splendid to hear about. Also, I’ve mentioned two friends coming back into our lives (on blog and podcast) and they are also happily taken. I had a good time watching them work through a complex recipe together and I said, “It’s so nice to get to this time in my life and able to connect with happily ‘taken’ people. I never saw I would see it having been exposed to relationship drama so much in real life and in fiction.” My friend answered, “It’s pretty cool, isn’t it?” ❤

As for the posters, those glowing eyes in the first one really got me. And Sue Lyons is always a treat. Liam Neeson's likeness is spectacularly vivid. Shutter Island grabbed me for it's colour and perspective. I dig lighthouses. Happy Anniversary to both of you!

  2. So many pretty ones this week but I’ll give it to the emotional reaction conjured by the list in the poster for Schindler’s List. Happy Valentine’s Day to you and your one and only.
